Need a declaration or notarized document for a vehicle ownership transfer? Royal Seal Notary Public provides commissioning and notarization services for vehicle-related documents in Oshawa.

Certain vehicle transfers may require a sworn declaration, affidavit, witnessed signature, or other supporting document depending on the circumstances and the requirements of ServiceOntario or another receiving organization.

Common situations include:

• Transfer of vehicle ownership
• Family transfers
• Estate or inheritance-related transfers
• Missing or unavailable documentation
• Sworn statements related to vehicle ownership
• Other vehicle-related declarations or affidavits

What to bring:

• The required form or declaration
• Valid government-issued identification
• Vehicle ownership or registration documents, if applicable
• Any supporting documents related to the transfer
• Any instructions, email, or checklist from ServiceOntario or the organization requesting the document

Important:

• Do not sign a declaration or affidavit before your appointment if your signature must be witnessed.
• You are responsible for the information contained in your declaration or affidavit.
• We do not determine whether a vehicle transfer is approved or accepted.
• Requirements can vary depending on the type of transfer and the circumstances.
• It is best to confirm the required documents with ServiceOntario before your appointment.

If you have been told that you need a notarized declaration, affidavit, or witnessed signature for a vehicle transfer and are unsure what is required, bring the instructions you received and we can help you understand the service being requested.
