WAIVER

 

I, the undersigned, am contracting ROYAL SEAL NOTARY PUBLIC SERVICES INC. to provide notary/commissioning services. By affixing my signature to the form below, I agree to the following:

 

I release ROYAL SEAL NOTARY PUBLIC SERVICES INC., as well as the specific notary providing notarial services, from any and all liability arising from this transaction where the notary/commissioner acted in good faith and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

 

I understand that I am not being provided with legal advice or services, and that any documents provided to be notarized (if any) are not protected by lawyer-client confidentiality.

 

I consent to the collection and storage of my personal information, including my notarized/commissioned document(s) and identification (if any), by ROYAL SEAL NOTARY PUBLIC SERVICES INC. for a period of three years. After which, I authorize ROYAL SEAL NOTARY PUBLIC SERVICES INC. to destroy this electronic copy irretrievably. The information shall be encrypted using appropriate security measures.

 

I confirm that I am the person I am claiming to be and have provided an accurate and lawful piece of government-issued identification.

 

I understand that providing false identification or impersonating another person is a criminal offense and is punishable by law.

 

I confirm that the document(s) I wish to notarize is the original. If the document I wish to be notarized is not the original, I shall notify the notary that it is a copy; and/or the document I wish to be witnessed or commissioned is completely filled in and will not be changed in any way after the notary affixes its seal.

 

I understand that I am responsible for providing accurate information for ROYAL SEAL NOTARY PUBLIC SERVICES INC. to provide our services.

 

I agree that all legal claims must be filed within the applicable limitation period imposed by law.

 

I agree that, regardless of anything else written in this agreement, if a court finds ROYAL SEAL NOTARY PUBLIC SERVICES INC., or a notary working on their behalf, liable for the services provided, such liability shall be limited to the amount of the transaction.

 

I consent to ROYAL SEAL NOTARY PUBLIC SERVICES INC. shipping my signed documents via Canada Post, and acknowledge that ROYAL SEAL NOTARY PUBLIC SERVICES INC. are not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen documents that are handled by Canada Post.

 

If the cost of shipping my documents back to me is greater than what is quoted on the phone, I agree to cover these fees promptly.

 

I understand that the transmission of notarized documents via email in a non-encrypted form may not be secure and may expose my personal information to unauthorized access or interception. Therefore, I request that ROYAL SEAL NOTARY PUBLIC SERVICES INC. does not send me any notarized documents via email.

 

Please be aware that our premises are equipped with security cameras in accordance with Canadian privacy regulations to ensure the safety and security of all clients and staff members. By attending your appointment, you acknowledge and consent to being recorded while on our premises. We kindly request that you remove your mask upon entering for identification purposes, but you may put it back on once you're inside.

 

I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this waiver, and I voluntarily agree to its terms and conditions.
